  I am working on upgrading my site to use google's new AMP standard. I want my videos to be eligable to be included in google's richcards for videos, which I think means that I have to use an html5 video or amp-video component to display the video. are vzaar videos compatible with the new AMP standard?

    Hi Michael,

    I'm afraid our player isn't compatible with the AMP standard as things stand, and would take a significant amount of work to rewrite the player to support this. It may well be something we consider for the future, but for now it's probably safest to use a workaround.

    You should be able to use the amp-video tag just fine with our urls and still get the advantage of CDN delivery. This snippet should work (if you replace the video ID with your own).

        <amp-video width=400 height=300 src=""
      <div fallback>
        <p>Your browser doesn’t support HTML5 video</p>

    All the best,
